Associate Director of Online Admissions 
Rasmussen University

The Associate Director of Online Admissions is a key member or Rasmussen’s student-centered support model that begins with attracting, enrolling and setting the stage for the success of our students at our National Online Campus. The Associate Director of Online Admissions demonstrates a higher level of programmatic expertise and directly leads a mid to large size team of admission advisors. The Associate Director of Online Admissions assists in leading a team that supports student enrollment and guides prospective students through their educational journey as they consider enrolling in one of Rasmussen University’s industry-leading, degree programs.

Responsibilities:

• Support and improve upon a service model that requires fully online/virtual student assistance through the admissions process.
• Assemble an appropriately skilled and talented team to meet student recruitment expectations and be responsible for their training and development.
• Meet new student enrollment goals.
• Cultivate and maintain a positive team environment within the Admissions department as well as across the organization.
• Develop and nurture collaborative relationships with peers and managers to support the team effort for student and University
• Provide constructive and appropriate input and ideas to assist the University in decision-making and process improvement.
• Actively contribute to the learning environment and collegial experience for students and employees.
• Promote the value of and build team continuity and cohesiveness and acknowledge and share wins and successes for the team.
• Support and contribute towards the University’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
• Act as a role model and ambassador regarding standards of conduct and core values of the department and University.

Reporting Relationship:

The Associate Director of Online Admissions reports to the Director of Online Admissions. This role directly supervises a team of remote Admissions Advisors.

Position Requirements: 

• At least three years of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in educational service, admissions counseling, customer service, and/or employee recruitment environment.  
• Experience in managing a fully remote team is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with students, management, and peers.
• Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written communication and strong verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience in meeting/exceeding sales goals
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evening hours across multiple time zones.
• General knowledge of the higher education industry is preferred, but not required.
