Job Responsibilities
Associate Director for Employer Relations
The Associate Director for Employer Relations develops and implements strategic direction and oversees daily operations for the Employer Relations team. They manage all Employer Relations initiatives to include facilitation of employer recruitment activities through the delivery of a year-round employer programs and services which provide student access to employers, job and internships. In addition, they provide oversight for targeted employer outreach and ongoing employer engagement activities for the purpose of advancing full-time employment and experiential education opportunities for USC students and alumni.
Primary duties:
- Marketing and Public Relations for Employer Relations and initiatives
- Analysis, Planning and Assessment of trends, program and administrative oversight
- Supervision and training of the diverse Employer Relations staff
- Budget planning and oversight

Minimum and Additional Requirements
Master's degree in related field and 3 years related program experience, or bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in employer or constituent relations, account management, human resources, sales/marketing, public relations, event planning, project management and/or public speaking is beneficial. Prior experience in leading, and setting strategic direction for, a team is an asset in this role. Prior experience using Customer Relations Management (CRM) software is preferred. Prior background in higher education and/or university career services is strongly desired.

The individual must have the ability to function in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Must have exceptional attention to detail, excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Must possess demonstrated abilities in customer service, teamwork, planning resource allocation (fiscal and personnel), anticipatory and critical thinking, problem solving, negotiation, facilitation, and coordination.
