Position Purpose:Advises full-time MBA students in finding internships and jobs, and manages relationships with employers according to Tuck’s mission, strategy, and institutional priorities.
Description:The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth seeks an accomplished career adviser to work one-on-one with full-time MBA students with a particular focus on students exploring careers in one or more of the following sectors: consulting, marketing, social impact and early stage ventures. In close coordination with recruiters at top firms and organizations, you will help students secure internships after their first year and career transforming jobs upon completing their Tuck MBA. You will join a world-class Career Services team with an outstanding track record of results. Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp:Bachelors or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, economics, or other related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in one of more of the following areas: management consulting, marketing, social impact, and/or early stage ventures, either as a practitioner (pre- or post-MBA) or as a recruiter, ideally including campus recruiting.
- Experience advising and coaching MBA students in finding internships and jobs, or talent acquisition experience in organizations that recruit and hire MBA graduates.
- Exceptional intercultural, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Able to support, contribute to, and strengthen a vibrant, culturally diverse, and inclusive learning community of students, alumni, faculty, and fellow professionals.
- Able to anticipate, deliver on, and exceed the expectations of students, employers, alumni, and faculty and staff colleagues.
- Able to introduce and drive innovation in ways small and large.
- Able to collaborate effectively with Career Services and other colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Able to proactively identify and pursue relevant learning and professional development opportunities and apply new knowledge, insights, and skills to enhance results.
- Knowledge of full-time, residential business education programs and career development gained through a master’s degree in business or a closely related field of study, or a combination of relevant education and/or work experience.
- Experience as a practitioner or recruiter in a field that traditionally recruits large numbers of MBA candidates, such as management consulting, investment banking, or big tech.

Description:Student Career Advising : Advises students one-on-one and in groups in exploring career pathways, assessing and articulating professional skills and qualifications, writing and updating résumés, accessing and utilizing job search resources and networks, identifying internship and job opportunities, preparing for internship and job interviews, evaluating interview feedback, and negotiating job offers. Enters student advising activities into Career Services system.

Description:Employer Relations: Builds, strengthens, and sustains employer relationships; partners with and provides input to recruitment team in planning and managing campus and virtual recruiting programs; and updates employer relations activities in Career Services system.

Description:Career Resources, Projects, and Support: Participates in the development and delivery of print, online, and video internship and job search resources; collaborates with Career Services and other Tuck colleagues, particularly Tuck centers, in conceptualizing, co-managing, and completing shared projects and assignments; and advises student clubs.

Description:Team Development and Innovation: Contributes ideas, input, and support to Career Services initiatives, decisions, communications, and other activities. Seeks out, applies, and shares knowledge of MBA career trends and innovations, as well as insights into industries of interest to students.
