Job Description:
The DIRECTOR OF Bedford Counseling Associates is responsible for the following:
- Overseeing the Bedford Counseling Associates (BCA) counseling staff; the Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) program staff, and the Medication-Assisted Recovery (MAR) coordinator.
- Orientate and supervise new clinical staff
- Provide ongoing supervision to students
- Supervise clinical staff
- Supervise support staff when needed
- Evaluations of full-time clinical staff and SPA twice a year and for part-time clinical staff once a year
- Recruitment of clinical staff, placement of MSW intern students
- Chair the Clinical/Administrative BCA Staff Meetings 1-2 a month
- Cover supervisory issues for Medication Services and Child and Adolescent Services
Key Responsibilities:
- A Variety of agency reports
- Intake and Initial Med times
- Intake Schedules
- Intake request trends
- Staff times and vacation schedules
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are a must.
- Accounting/financial skills are preferred.
- Availability to work flexible hours.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Education: A Master’s degree in a clinical field such as nursing, counseling, or mental health is required.
