The opportunity
- Program Manager for Teva's Global Access to Medicines
- Strategic planning of new access initiatives/programs/strategy and ongoing improvement of existing initiatives.
- Demand planning for social business ventures
- Responsible for program planning, execution, ongoing management, control, and monitoring – with internal and external existing and new stakeholders.
- Participation in and contribution to industry-wide meetings, forums and conferences.
- Reports to Access to Medicines Lead
How you’ll spend your day
This role can be based in Parsippany, NJ or in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
- Short and long term strategic planning of new access and existing initiatives – Identify, shape, evaluate and setup new Access initiatives and expand existing Access programs.
- Benchmarking and monitoring leading best practices in the field to identify trends and opportunities to develop and promote sustainable access initiatives.
- Develop demand planning strategy and implementation for social business ventures and exploring potential collaborations for new sustainable initiatives by pro-actively approaching leading global partners and fielding incoming proposals.
- Develop sustainability models for Access initiatives, including social business.
- Capacity building/health systems strengthening program creation and monitoring
- Aligning with internal stakeholders to develop social business and pricing models (Portfolio, R&D, Commercial, IM, Compliance etc).
- KPI achievement and implementation - monitor challenges and offer solutions; monitor progress; review KPIs and remediation plans, monitor and report on progress, monitor changing landscape and peer/rating agencies' expectations.
- Operative project management of Access initiatives, including - customs clearances, license requirements registration, price/synergies with commercial, COGS/business planning impact, risk /mitigation, determine timeline, liaise with organizations, oversee logistics, contract management, supporting ad-hoc requests by internal stakeholders, disaster and emergency donations, etc.
- Managing existing external partnerships.
- Managing internal partnerships – including all existing Access programs, in order to improve programming year over year (e.g. Portfolio, Legal, Tax, Compliance, Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Finance, Quality).
- Data collection, analysis and progress monitoring, along with creation of dashboard reports on a quarterly basis for internal and external use.
- Contribution to Teva's AMR mitigation management.
- Collecting and managing forecast data (products and volumes) from existing and potential partners, and communicating with internal stakeholders as necessary.
- Representing Teva in working groups, initiatives, and other external conferences.
- Reviewing and creating Access communications materials as necessary.
- Completing budget calculations for Access initiatives.
Your experience and qualifications
- Bachelors degree is required. Master's Degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or comparable is preferred.
- A minimum of 4 years experience is required.
- Social business development and management experience is preferred.
- Experience in Pharma related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in developing strategic programs and promoting complex cross-organizational projects while engaging external stakeholders.
- Experience in Supply Chain and/or Portfolio management – preferred.
- Creativity, strategic thinking, and problem solving.
- Ability to influence and lead changes throughout decision-making process.
- Excellent Excel and presentations skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight timelines.
- Advanced organizational and communication skills.
- Travel up to 10% may be required.
