We are currently working with a rapidly growing management consulting company that specializes in helping organizations implement and/or re-engineer demand planning, supply planning and S&OP / IBP processes.
Due to their on-going growth, they are looking for an Associate Demand Planner with a Supply Chain planning background to join their team and help drive best practices among their clients both in the US and Europe. This is a full-time role that can be based in Denver Co or Chicago IL or fully remote.
The Associate – Demand Planner provides our clients with tactical demand planning expertise and process consulting. As an Associate – Planning Services you will work with the client engagement lead to deliver demand planning and forecasting outcomes for our clients. We are looking for a passionate, savvy Demand Planner to proactively manage demand, analyze data, document assumptions, and manage forecasting models that drive positive business results for our clients. Additionally, you will work with the client and our process consulting team to engineer collaboration and provide feedback and requirements that enhance planning systems and tools.
Responsibilities
- Ability to evaluate demand planning models and generate analysis and actions that improve forecasting KPIs
- Manages new demand forecasting units and new product introduction processes.
- Participate in S&OP meetings and preparation sessions to document insights that drive forecasting improvements.
- Analyze and document end-to-end planning processes spanning the Demand Planning and Forecasting function within our client’s organization.
- Evaluate planning-related data structures, data models, and technology tools involved in the end-to-end planning process, with an emphasis on analyzing links to strategic KPIs.
- Travel approximately 10%.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working in demand planning and forecasting roles, preferably in an S&OP structure.
- Experience with JD Edwards forecasting tools highly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication with outside stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to work at the intersection of process, data, tools, and technology.
- Proven presentation capabilities in both content and delivery
