The Associate Creative Producer at Merit is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the photo production process. This role involves collaborating with agents, photographers, stylists, models, and internal stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of content shoots. The Associate Creative Producer plays a key role in organizing logistics, maintaining timelines, and facilitating effective communication between various teams.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the productionof creative concepts for large and small scale photo and video shoots
- Assist in the pre and post production of shoots and other creative projects to ensure all deliverables are met
- Plan and coordinate logistics for photo shoots, including location scouting, equipment needs, and scheduling
- Help to source and maintain a database of talent, including photographers, stylists, HMU artists and other talent agencies
- Assist in managing the day-to-day communication, timeline, and deliverables with external agencies and internal creative team for product launches, photo shoots, design projects, and marketing initiatives
- Assist in monitoring and managing budgets related to photo production
- Identify and solve critical project issues such as: budget management, project delays, talent sourcing
- Plan and manage production, duties include creating a run-of-show schedule, coordinating deliveries, etc
- Arrange and coordinate photo shoot locations, permits, and necessary equipment
- Establish effective relations with vendors
- Provide clear briefs and statements of work to outside partners, managing all phases of production through delivery
- Partner closely with the Art Director and Project Manager to ensure deliverables for projects are met
- Maintain organized records of photo shoot details, contracts, and other relevant documentation
- Handle administrative tasks related to the production process, such as scheduling meetings, organizing files, and maintaining project documentation
- Maintain Digital Asset Management System, ensure all content is uploaded at the close of each project
- Own the coordination of MERIT's content creator program from conception to completion through every stage of production and post-production
- Reach out to content creators at the start of each month while working with the Social Lead on budget, casting and creative briefs
- Attend and assist with in-person shoots where necessary
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Photography, Visual Arts, Communications)
- 1-3+ years of experience or prior internships in photo production coordination or a similar role
- Knowledge of photography equipment, lighting techniques, and industry trends
- Familiarity with project management tools and software, a plus
- Strong organization skills
- High attention to detail
- An ability to effectively prioritize day to day work and effectively multi-task
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships
- Self-directed and collaborative; an ability to work both independently and in teams effectively
- Team player; the ability to take in feedback and work together to achieve goals

We are proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package in addition to salary compensation. The annual salary range for this role is $70,000 - 80,000 in addition to bonus potential, stock options, a 401(k) match, health benefits, paid time off and more. The final salary will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the individual's experience and qualifications.
