About the Role
As the first creative leader on our marketing team, you’ll have the opportunity to shape and build the Rula brand. You'll play a pivotal role in our next chapter of growth by overseeing the end-to-end development of all creative assets, ensuring a seamless and compelling brand experience across various channels. The person in this role will have to balance hands-on visual design work with managing external resources. You will be responsible for selecting and managing a team of freelance designers, copywriters, and agencies to support our creative needs. With a hands-on approach to design and an ability to collaborate effectively, you will be at the forefront of defining Rula's creative journey.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of visual design skills and management experience
Excellent typography, layout, and composition skills
Experience with Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other best-in-class tools
Experience directing and managing creative teams, as well as working with external resources (freelancers, agencies)
A portfolio that reflects your strengths in both large-scale brand work and performance assets
Experience with brand strategy, as well as spearheading large-scale brand campaigns that capture the attention of target audiences
Clear and concise written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to articulate a compelling rationale for design choices

Comfortable with ambiguity and working with internal stakeholders to refine briefs
Experience with both in-house and agency work
Hands-on copywriting experience or experience managing copywriters
