Summary
Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle. Determines material requirements from engineering and production schedules. Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering. Develops specifications for new contract orders. Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity; creates and maintains bills of material and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other enterprise wide systems.
Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule and monitor CPFR (collaborative, planning, forecasting and replenishment) activities for key accounts
- Provide regular and critical analysis and communication with internal and external stakeholders on key performance indicators and order management and escalates issues as needed
- Analyze sales forecasting and planning process for key customers
- Complete complex customer specific reports to meet ongoing needs, including weekly sales reports, promotional analysis, reconciliation of forecast versus actual and data infrastructure)
- Participate in weekly sales and operation planning meeting to review sales, forecast and sell-through performance
- Maintain and evaluate KPI's (forecast accuracy, fill rate, etc.) and analyze variances initiating appropriate corrective action
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 1 years relevant work experience
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Collaborative problem-solver
- Effective communications both internally (sales, SCM, PM and order management), as well as external customers
