Duties
The U.S. House of Representatives, Office of House Employment Counsel, has an opening for a junior-level Associate Counsel. This position provides legal counsel in a non-partisan fashion to employing offices of the House of Representatives on employment and labor law matters, under the general supervision of the Counsel.

Qualifications
The successful applicant must have knowledge of federal employment laws, a minimum of one year of litigation experience, and the ability to work in a team-oriented work environment. Must have a law degree and be a member in good standing of the bar of the highest court of any state.
The position requires in-office presence in Washington, DC. Relocation expenses are not paid. The position is eligible for federal employee benefits, including defined benefit pension and TSP match.
