Job Description Qualifications:
Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring for an Associate Compliance Focal (Level B) to join our Site Response Team in North Charleston, SC on first shift!
Position Responsibilities:

  • Partner with 787 Manufacturing Safety Team members, as required.
  • Facilitate compliance-related BPSMs and RSPSs for assigned areas.
  • Understanding of relevant policies, processes, procedures, BPS criteria and expectations.
  • Compile and report out all performed compliance assessments using EPES and program standard processes.
  • Works under general direction.
  • Support Focal meetings through facilitation, backup facilitation, or attendance of either (5S Steering Team, Tool Management Steering Team).
  • Support emergent compliance projects, as requested by team leadership.
  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.
  • Analyzes and interprets data. Provides feedback on assessment results.
  • Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to accomplish company initiatives using Lean methodologies or other applicable tools and processes.
  • Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans.
  • Compiled the QMR deck independently.
  • Administrate EPES.
  • Support the 787 Program 5S plan, including attending as a Non-Advocate at least once annually.
  • Administrate SharePoint/Server.
  • Maintain Sweep process and relevant files.
  • Maintain team Standard Work Document.
  • Support emergent compliance projects, as requested by team leadership.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
  • 1+ years of experience in the aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing industry
  • 1+ years of experience with Lean principles and continuous improvement
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
  • 1+ years of experience with Boeing Production System (BPS) concept
  • 1+ years of experience in Velocity, EID/REDARS, IVT, COGNOS Velocity, and TMC
  • 1+ years of experience with data mining, processing and analysis

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:

Summary pay range: $62,050 - $83,950
