Associate Attorney

Description:

An Insurance Attorney is searching for an associate to manage a growing storm damage insurance claim docket.
The duties and responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to:

• Manage all cases assigned to docket from pre-litigation negotiations to standard litigation responsibilities such as drafting, mediation, depositions, attending hearings, and trial.
• Research case law to analyze precedents or similar cases.
• Establish a professional rapport with all clients.
• Manage all staff assigned to docket.

The requirements for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Texas and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
• Experience negotiating first-party insurance claims.
• Familiarity with Local Rules and adept at researching Local Rules.
• Excellent time management.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work well independently as well as manage staff.
