What Were Looking For:

We're looking for a Litigation Attorney to join our team fully remotely. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in handling litigation cases in areas like insurance, real estate, personal injury, and general business. You need to be licensed to practice law in New York and having a New Jersey license would be a big plus. While you can work remotely from your home office, you'll need to attend court appearances in person as needed.

What Youll Be Doing:

Handle a variety of litigation cases, including insurance disputes, real estate conflicts, personal injury cases, and general business disputes.

Research legal matters and prepare legal documents like pleadings, motions, and briefs.

Advocate for clients in court, mediations, and negotiations.

Offer legal counsel on litigation strategies, settlement talks, and risk control.

Work closely with other legal team members for efficient case management and client updates.

Stay informed about legal updates and changes impacting litigation practices.

What We Need From You:

Must have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a recognized law school.

Should be licensed to practice law in New York; preference for additional admission to the New Jersey State Bar.

At least 2 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on litigation.

Strong litigation abilities, including courtroom experience and a track record of successful cases.

Experience handling various litigation matters, especially in insurance, real estate, personal injury, and general business law.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Ability to work effectively and independently in a remote setup.

Proficient in legal research and writing, with keen attention to detail.

Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.
