Qualifications for Associate Attorneys:

• 1-2 years of experience, defense litigation & toxic tort preferred
• Admitted to practice in the California State Bar
• Possession of a JD Degree from an accredited law school
• Experience in a billing work environment
• Ability to excel in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Engagement in community leadership roles through various professional affiliations

Responsibilities for Associate Attorneys:

• Crafting legal motions and discovery requests
• Formulating case strategies and trial narratives
• Conducting interviews and preparing potential witnesses
• Cultivating new client connections
• Conducting and defending depositions of laypersons, experts, and corporate representatives
• Negotiating settlements with opposing parties
• Providing support to Shareholders, Partners, and Senior Counsels
• Active participation in mediations, court-mandated settlement conferences, and hearings
• Assigning and overseeing tasks for paralegals
