MASS TORTS CATASTROPHIC PERSONAL INJURY ATTORNEY

Career Staffing Talent has partnered with a multi-state plaintiff's law firm looking for a strong associate-level attorney with personal injury, catastrophic injury, or mass torts experience who is interested in working on high-stakes class-action cases. In this role, you will represent clients who have suffered severe injuries due to mass torts, accidents, or other catastrophic events. The position is remote, and I will report to a managing attorney. It is an excellent opportunity to get Federal Court experience and work on sophisticated matters. Prior personal injury, catastrophic injury, or mass torts experience is required.

Responsibilities:

• Case Evaluation: Assess the merits of potential cases related to mass torts and catastrophic injuries
• Client Representation: Provide legal representation to clients who have sustained serious injuries
• Litigation: Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and representing clients in court
• Research and Strategy: Research legal issues, collaborate with colleagues, and develop effective legal strategies
• Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed about case progress
• Negotiation: Negotiate settlements with opposing parties when appropriate

Qualifications:

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Louisiana Bar
• 3-5 years of personal injury or mass tort litigation experience.
• Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures, rules of evidence, and court rules.
• Proven litigation experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking and analysis skills.
• High level of organization and ability to prioritize effectively - ability to work remotely with minimal oversight
