Form of workThe Westminter is recruiting for an Assisted Living Health Services Manager.
Responsible for the day-to-day operation of Assisted LivingHealth Services. Develops, maintains, and implements nursing service objectives and standards of nursing practice. Develops nursing service policies and procedures. Promotes and maintains continuity of care among associates, residents, families and all disciplines. Assumes responsibility for continued self-development in order to help plan and provide for quality care. Responsible for providing nursing and related services, within scope of license, to assure resident safety and attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psycho-social well-being of each resident.
- Plan, direct and organize an effective Health Services program for Assisted Living and memory support.
- Provide clinical oversight and direction for resident care.
- Implement, communicate and enforce policies and procedures.
- Complete initial and ongoing comprehensive evaluations and service plans for AL residents.
- Collaborate and coordinate with resident physicians, pharmacists and resident outside care services.
- Responsible for training all Assisted Living associates, under RN delegation.
- Provide training and oversight for associates, including Heartfelt Connections and CNA certification classes.
- Lead family care conferences when needed and provide family education.
- Review, evaluates, makes recommendations, and signs all incident reports for AL.
