Assisted Living Director

Westpark Commons, a Larchwood Care community is a 95-bed Assisted Living unit, attached to an 80-bed SNF with 25 ventilator beds and a dialysis center in-house. We are a five-star facility that is on a mission to continue to grow and improve and achieve our goals.

We are looking for an innovative, experienced and dedicated Assisted Living Director who shares our vision and mission and can provide leadership to our program. This position involves directing the staff who provide services, creating program services that meet the needs of our diverse group of residents and provides leadership to the mission. Some of the people we serve have more complex mental health and substance abuse issues.

Essential functions:

- Hire, manage, train and direct the activities of the Assisted Living staff.

- Participate in the strategic planning and implementation of the facility.

- Provide operations management to the Assisted Living Department

- Coordinate comprehensive care for the residents by collaborating with other

healthcare professionals.

- Supervise the development and implementation of effective care plans and social

services for the residents.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Assisted Living
- Knowledge of service plans and working with people mental health
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with residents
- Understanding of resident rights and the importance of maintaining their dignity
- Ability to supervise and manage the needs of multiple residents simultaneously

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour
