3rd shift 10pm-6:30am
Every other weekend & every other holiday required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assure training for all staff through appropriate orientation,
evaluation, assignment and delegation of duties.
2. Assure staff, resident, and visitor compliance with policies and procedures.
3. Assure that residents, visitors and staff have a safe, clean and comfortable
environment.
4. Know emergency preparedness plan and be able to react and give instructions
as indicated.
5. Attend in-service programs and staff meetings.
6. Personally responsible for shift coverage when unable to cover any other way.
7. Conduct tours in a positive and professional manner.
8. Assist with move ins, transfers and move outs.
9. Use good judgment in notification when there is a change in resident’s physical
or mental condition.
10. Participate in resident care.
11. Properly assist residents with medication.
12. Perform and supervise treatments.
13. Assure medication availability.
14. Promptly and accurately transcribe physician orders.
15. Schedule needed tests, medical appointments, baths, laundry, etc.
16. Timely and accurate documentation of the MAR, shift notes, resident files,
incident reports, monthly vital signs and other.
17. Assist in special activities and/or functions of facility.
18. Identify special problems and respond appropriately.
19. Orient new residents and family members as necessary.
20. Maintain a working relationship/rapport within the facility and other medical
professionals and organizations.
21. Assure that necessary equipment and supplies are available.
22. Any assignments or tasks necessary and beneficial to the health and welfare of
the residents and essential to the operation and function of the department and
facility.
23. It is part of my job duties to ensure resident safety.
