Job Description
Prepare career advertisements, interview candidates, establish compensation ranges, prepare annual appraisals, review and update employee handbook, and manage Affirmative Action Plan with Hudson Mann while monitoring data and compliance with same. Comply with all government regulations and
communicate them to the appropriate staff. Review and administer all group insurance plans for Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and FSA. Assist employees when necessary. Plan and assist in corporate events and recreational activities.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Execute all components of HR functional management, including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and employee engagement
- Consult and guide managers in performance coaching and disciplinary discussions, written performance documentation, administration of performance improvement plans, mediation and conflict resolution between managers and employees, and performance of workplace investigations
- Implement and internally communicate HR policies and procedures
- Review, research, and issue written updates to the Employee Handbook, using Handbook Builder to bring Bank policies and procedures into compliance, to keep policies and programs relevant in the market, and provide guidance to managers and employees
- Maintain all employee records, back-up the payroll function, maintain ADP payroll portal, process new employee onboarding, and manage all FMLA requests
- Manage Shareholder account data
- Organize meeting and prepare documentation for the monthly Board of Director meetings • Provide administrative support to the Chairman & CEO
- Perform other duties as assigned by the President
Requirements & Qualifications
- Relevant undergraduate college degree
- Continuing professional HR education
- Knowledge of BSA/AML banking regulations
- Microsoft Office, ADP Payroll System, Adobe Acrobat, Internet
