Location: Multi-locations all within Pinellas County
Hybrid position:Any administration work and team meetings are usually virtual, other tasks are in person

Hours: Anywhere from 10-30 hours per week depending upon the season and volume of things to be done. On occasion there may be weeks that we'll need closer to 35 hours a week for the Holiday season but it won't be the standard.
Rate: Starting $19 an hour

Job Description:
We are seeking an Assistant to help our Executive Director. The ideal candidate will have a passion for community outreach, serving others in need in our community, and strong organizational skills and physical capabilities to lift heavy donations such as food, clothing, hygiene, etc.
They should be able to work effectively in a team and on their own while providing excellent interactions to partners, clients, volunteers, and staff as needed. Principle Roles & Responsibilities:
Calendar & Phone Management: Coordinate and manage emails, meetings, and phone lines.
Communication and Correspondence: Draft and proofread emails, letters, and other documents on behalf of the Executive Director. Manage and respond to inquiries and requests, filtering and redirecting communication as necessary. Have a professional tone while also being friendly and maintaining current relationships.
Project Coordination: Assist in the planning, execution, and follow-up of special projects and initiatives that serve those most in need in our community. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases.
Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
Event Coordination: Assist in planning and organizing events, conferences, and fundraising activities. Coordinate logistics, invitations, and follow-up tasks related to events. (Usually only 1-3 times per year)
Supplies Management: Help to order and coordinate supplies as needed. This can be as small as ordering printer ink as needed, or hygiene items and snacks on Amazon or as big as coordinating bulk pick ups from partners like Publix.
Miscellaneous Tasks: On occasion there may be items out of the above categories like running errands like taking things to the post office, helping with clean up, helping to pick up or drop off packages, etc.
