Requirements:ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
· Run age group practices and assist in workout preparations and planning.
· Assist with Swim Team communications and administration.
· Attend and help direct operations during swim meets and team events.
· Help coordinate the parent volunteer program.
· Must be able to work with children and adults of all ages and abilities.
· Must be available for weekends and / or evening work.
· Assist in oversite of swimming techniques, strokes, and water safety rules to team.
· Report any incidents immediately to supervisor and complete all appropriate paperwork.
· Share your knowledge and love of Athletics and Recreation, Nature and Sports with members and your team.
QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
· Degree in kinesiology, sports medicine, or another relevant field is preferred but not required.
· Lifeguard certification or willingness to acquire upon hiring.
· Experience with Midlakes Swim League or similar summer swim leagues.
· Ability to teach proper competitive swimming techniques.
· Strong leadership experience and interpersonal skills.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
