*Sign-on bonus terms: Any candidate who accepts a full-time, regular job as a Assistant Retail Sales Manager with AAA Northeast at our Yorktown Heights, NY location will be eligible to receive a $2000 sign-on bonus.
Effective through 6/30/23. This bonus is payable in 2 installments, 1/2 when you start and 1/2 upon successful completion of 3 months of employment (3 months from the day you start work).
Salary: $27.00-$29.95
ResponsibilitiesWhat you will do:
Member Service:
- Ensures overall member experience is met by handling member issues, managing wait times, checking office merchandise, monitoring interactions between staff and members and includes servicing members directly, includes all business lines in branch both in-person and over-the-phone.
Sales Management:
- Assists with supervision of branch employees according to the organization's business practices, procedures, and state/federal laws. In partnership with the Branch Manager, identifies training needs, development efforts, coaching, mentoring, monitoring KPI's and achievement of branch goals.
Daily Operations:
- Responsible for the daily operations of the branch office. In the absence of the Branch Manager, assumes full responsibility for the branch including safeguarding branch assets and confidential data along with maintaining a professional, positive, and safe work environment. Responsible for daily reports, including opening/closing/deposit procedures for the branch.
- Works to ensure adequate staffing levels in the branch. As needed, processes in-branch and over-the-phone transactions, including registry services, to best ensure member transactions are completed properly. Assists in monitoring, returning, and taking phone calls.
- Represents club in local community events. Builds relationships with town council, Chamber of Commerce, police/fire departments, local businesses, and educational groups to enhance AAA presence. Represents the Branch at club sponsored events.
Qualifications
Must meet individual state requirements to perform registry, notary, & TSA services; including clearing state specific background checks/processes.
May travel to nearby locations to assist with branch coverage.
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate's Degree Preferred
- 1-2 years Supervisory experience required
