Upscale restaurant/bar is looking for an Assistant Manager to handle the following items:
Coordinate set-up, training and instalation of TOAST POS system
Supervise servers, bartenders, bussers
Hold pre-shift staff meetings
Work with staff to improve food & beverage sales at tables
Create a manual for opening and closing procedures
Coordinate scheduling of employees with GM, event manager and Chef
Assist with dining operations including opening and closings, interacting with customers, resolving complaints, setting up tables for various layouts
Assist with POS system, voids, comps, reports, menu set-up, etc.
Assist the GM with liquor inventory and restocking bar
Coordinate service calls with vendors for repairs, etc.
Part-time but could be full-time for the right person
Hours are generally 2pm - 11pm but will vary
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year managing at a busy restaurant.
Must know Toast POS (set-up, FOH and manager back-end)
Fluent in English
Able to communicate in basic Spanish or bilingual a +
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with loud music
Excellent customer service skills
Professional appearence
Able to communicate and build repport with service staff
Able to work on a flexible schedule
US Citizen or existing work authorization
