SalaryThe City of Olivia is accepting applications for a full-time Assistant Public Works Superintendent. Position duties include maintain and repair work with city streets, curb and gutters, boulevards, ponds, storm water infrastructure, vehicles, equipment, parks, grounds, and buildings and performs related duties as required. Assists in planning, coordinating and supervising departmental work activities. This position provides excellent customer service and works with vendors and contractors to get quotes, bids, and manage projects. Provides general and/or technical supervision over Public Works staff as team leader; assumes duties of Public Works Superintendent in that person’s absence
Applicants must have a valid MN Class A driver’s license with the ability to obtain a Class B driver’s license with tanker endorsement within six months, and be able to obtain licenses for weed, tree, and mosquito management within one year of employment. Two or more years of Public Works maintenance experience is required.
The pay range for this position is $26.96 to $35.95 per hour.
