Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Property Manager. As an Assistant Property Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the day-to-day operations of our properties. REQUISITES:
- Be able to work 40 hours during weekdays (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm)
- EXCELLENT customer service skills

- Have the ability to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities
- Possess flexibility, good business judgment and exhibit strong attention to details
- Have computer skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Duties:
- Assist with property leasing activities, including conducting tours, screening potential tenants, and preparing lease agreements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date tenant files and records
- Assist with rent collection and follow up on delinquent accounts
- Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely resolution of issues
- Assist with the implementation of property policies and procedures
- Handle tenant inquiries and resolve any concerns or complaints in a professional manner
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Collaborate with the Property Manager to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including Section 8 requirements
- Utilize property management software systems such as AppFolio, to track and manage property-related information
- Managing of inquiries and condition of active available residential and commercial rentals
- Dealing with day-to-day rental and leasing issues
- Fielding repair requests, condition and concern calls
- Marketing calls (inbound and outbound), meeting with & recruiting potential tenants and owners
- Inspecting and preparing properties for new tenants, working with vendors
- Collecting rent collection, call files, and evictions
- Providing support to the Property Manager
- Processing applications, contracts with owners and tenants, security dispositions, enforcing occupancy policies and procedures
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of property management principles and practices
- Experience with file management and record keeping
- Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) and Section 8 programs
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with tenants, vendors, and team members
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of contract management processes
- Familiarity with property leasing procedures
- Basic understanding of property maintenance concepts

Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma
- Experience in Property Management or a related field strongly preferred
- Willing to obtain Property Management License within first 90 days
