JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Program Coordinator will directly manage House Managers and House Leads as well as indirectly supervise Direct Support Professionals. This individual is the primary source of communication and information for all contacts at the county level and keeping upper management informed of all problems or changes. You will also be expected to maintain accurate records as required by Buckeye Residential Solutions and any other governing agency such as DODD, ODHS, and County Case Management.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Training:
· Responsible for interviewing, hiring, evaluations and maintaining proper training and development of high-quality staff for direct support positions.
· Ensure all employees are receiving the required annual trainings.
Supervision:
· Directly Supervise all Portage County direct support employees, House Managers, and House Leads.
· Conduct employee evaluations for direct reports.
· Overall responsibility for scheduling coordination and compliance in accordance with company policies.
· Coordinate and facilitate communication to all members of the team, which may include service and support administrators (SSAs), day service representatives, and family or legal guardians.
· Interact directly with clients, their guardians, behavioral specialists, and SSAs.
· Supervise the completion of Time Sheets, HPC sheets, BSP Data Tracking Sheets, Unusual Incident Reports, and Major Unusual Incident Reports.
· Track trends and patterns from documentation and incident reports.
· Perform house/ vehicle checks.
Administration:
· Report all UIs and MUIs as required by law.
· Weekly review, and where necessary correction of, all documents and other information required for regulatory compliance purposes to ensure adequate documentation.
· Attend and participate in scheduled staff meetings, designated training, and in-service sessions.
· Care tracker data entry.
· Perform central scheduling.
· Keeps equipment operating by establishing and enforcing operating and preventive maintenance rules, arranging for repairs.
· Establish routes for drivers.
· Maintain State Highway Patrol compliance.
Medical/ Physical:
· Adhere to confidentiality guidelines, as outlined by organization policy and HIPPA regulations.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
· The Assistant Program Coordinator will primarily work in the office and will provide Direct Care or transportation to clients as needed.
· This position will require the use a computer for extended periods of time.
· Sit, stand, bend, lift, and pull, intermittently.
· May also require spending time on location at a consumer’s home as well as work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Highschool Diploma
· Extensive knowledge and experience in DODD compliance.
· Strong communication and organizational skills.
· Prior experience in residential care program management. Additional hands-on experience in a transportation Program would be a plus.
· Self-motivated with ability to work under little supervision.
· Ability to complete and pass a background check per company standards.
· Positive attitude with the desire to help others.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
