Under little or no direct supervision, teaches traditional, hybrid, and online courses in the discipline, and performs a variety of duties including academic advising, curriculum development, committee and community service, research, grantsmanship, and other duties that align with the mission of the College and the University. The Assistant Professor reports to the Department Chair.
QualificationsAn earned Ph.D. D.B.A. from an AACSB accredited university (or other relevantly accredited programs) is preferred. A strong background in undergraduate teaching with evidence of successful experience in teaching business administration courses with an emphasis in marketing, or management, or evidence of significant experience and expertise as a practitioner in the field. Other desired qualifications include (l) business/industry work experience; (2) research and grant-writing experience; and (3) experience with technology-enhanced curriculum delivery and social media. The equivalent combination of education and related work experience may be considered.
