The College of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics at Alvernia University seeks a Program Director for its Forensic Science Program. The candidate will also hold the title of Assistant Professor of Forensic Science. The position will begin in the summer of 2024. We seek candidates who hold a minimum of a Master’s degree in Forensic Science, while a Ph.D. is encouraged to apply. The candidate must be a licensed Forensic Science practitioner with a minimum of 3-years of field experience.
Preference will be given to applicants with research and teaching experience in the field of Forensic Science with a willingness to teach fundamental chemistry or biology courses, as needed. Additionally, preference will be given to applicants with experience upholding Forensic Science accreditation.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates should provide evidence of quality teaching experience and scholarly productivity. Experience with teaching courses in general and/or physical chemistry are desirable.
