Join a progressive, interdisciplinary team of PM&R & Pain medicine physicians, physical therapists, and psychologists at Intermountain Medical Center Comprehensive Spine Clinic in Murray, UT. The goal for this physician is to help Intermountain Health patients and Salt Lake County community members to live the healthiest lives possible. Our pain management team uses state-of-the-art techniques, advanced procedures, and innovative therapies to design treatment plans that are customized to our patients' specific needs and address the full continuum of care.
The ideal candidate for this position will be committed to an interdisciplinary approach to providing care and will be an engaged, innovative team member.
Practice Information
  • Intermountain Healthcare is looking for a board certified/eligible PM&R & Pain Medicine (open to Anesthesia/Pain trained) physician to join the Intermountain Medical Center Comprehensive Spine team located in Murray, UT.
  • Primary Responsibilities will include evaluation and treatment of patients with acute and chronic spine pain conditions, in addition to other musculoskeletal and join pain conditions (including abdominal, pelvic, and fibromyalgia pain).
  • Clinical duties will include evaluation of new and follow-up patients and telehealth appointments.
  • Physician can expect to do ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and EMG guided injections, with 1 dedicated day of fluoroscopy. Common treatment plans include: epidurals, spinal cord stimulators, nerve blocks, peripheral nerve stimulation, reparative and regenerative therapeutics, etc.
  • Medication management and education is expected, including occasional opioid medication management when cross coverage is needed.
  • This physician will be a welcomed addition to a successful PM&R and Pain Management Clinic, with Neurosurgery and Rehab support in clinic.
  • The physician can anticipate working 4x10s per week (likely T-F).
  • Physician will have ready access to diagnostic equipment and dedicated support staff

Requirements
  • Board certified or board eligible in PM&R & Pain Medicine
  • ACGME fellowship-trained in pain medicine
  • Unrestricted Utah MD or DO license or the ability to obtain an unrestricted license
