The Department of Chemistry at Ursinus College invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team of faculty and staff in an ACS-certified department and will participate in the biochemistry and molecular biology program. The chemistry department is housed in Pfahler Hall and offers dedicated student research laboratories and instruments suitable for undergraduate research.
ResponsibilitiesWe seek a chemist who is committed to excellence in undergraduate education at a highly selective liberal arts college. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching four courses per semester, with primary responsibilities including lecture and laboratory courses in general and/or organic chemistry. Opportunities exist for interested candidates to engage undergraduate students in research.
Requirements and QualificationsApplicants should have a Ph.D. in chemistry or chemical education.
