- Teaching load of 12 credit hours per semester
- Primary responsibility for teaching introductory global survey courses, upper-level Art History courses, and the capstone seminar (Contemporary Art, Design, and Theory)
- Additional teaching responsibilities assigned based on professional background and expertise
- Foster the development of department curriculum, Art History Major, Minor and Certificates within the context of the School of Art
- Active participation in scholarly/creative activities and professional organizations
- Other responsibilities include mentoring students and student projects, portfolio reviews, student academic advising, and service to the department, university, and community
- Maintaining standards and assessments for Art History classes designated as Liberal Arts & Sciences Curriculum (LASC/Generals) courses and Writing Intensive designated courses

- Ph.D. in Art History

- 2+ years of teaching experience beyond T.A.
