This position is for the General Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Duties include coverage of RWJUH L&D, OR and ED, teaching OB/GYN medical students and residents. In addition, the position includes services in the ambulatory practice located in the Clinical Academic Building, and/or Monroe Township and/or Chemed and/or Chandler Health Center.

Overview
1. Provide evidence-based Ob/Gyn care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, teaching of medical students and residents, research and other duties as assigned.
2. Work collaboratively with the existing academic, administrative and clinical staff
3. Provide 54 hours of call coverage per month at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital ("RWJUH").
4. Preparing and attending to all reports, claims, and correspondence necessary relating to Services.
5. Providing education and training for third party contractors' nurses and sonographers in assisting with Services.
6. Provide assistance in establishing and developing protocols with respect to obstetric services to include third party contractors.
7. Timely contracting with public and private payors, and timely credentialing with payors.
8. Devoting such time, attention, and energy necessary for physician to furnish services in a manner consistent with accepted community standards of care and competence.
9. Doing all things reasonable to maintain and improve the physician's competency and professional skills including maintenance of board certification and state licensure.
10. These expectations are not all inclusive and other duties may be assigned by the Chair or Dean.

Immunization Requirements
Under Policy 60.1.35 Immunization Policy for Rutgers Employees and Prospective Employees, Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
