The Assistant Preschool Teacher develops a cohesive teaching team, coordinates the curriculum, and manages the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. The Teacher in this role should be high energy and able to work well with staff, students, and parents. You’ll have the opportunity to be a leader in the classroom, champion a team environment, and provide fun-filled learning opportunities while making a positive impact on the lives of children.
This position is Full Time scheduled 9 AM -6 PM Monday – Friday. The pay is $15+ per hour depending on experience and qualifications. This role is onsite at our center located: 1616 Conway Gardens Road, Orlando FL 32806

What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by creating classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards
- Lead by example and encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching Plan individual and group age-appropriate exercises to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth
- Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement
- Ensure all Center policies and state regulations are met
What We Need from You:
- High School Diploma, Degree in related field of study

- 1 year of professional early childhood education or experience preferred
- Must clear a full DCF Level 2 background check
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and basic computer skills
- Strong understanding of children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where students are engaged and encouraged to succeed
- Effective in communicating with both students and adults to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns
- CPR, First Aid, and Fire Extinguisher Certification completion within 30 days of employment
- Fluent in both English and Spanish is a plus
