Assistant Operations Manager
This position will be responsible for assisting the Operations Manager with all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the Distribution Center. The primary focus of this position consists of managing the Receiving, Packaging, Put Away, Pull team, returns team, spooling, inventory, QC, and kitting team while maintaining efficient fulfillment and turn-around time on inventory. This role also has full authority for all people and processes if the Operations Manager is not present.
Job Responsibilities
This position will help to achieve the company’s strategic and financial objectives while ensuring that customers’ needs are met through the accurate, timely, and cost-effective delivery of products. This position will set the standard of high operational efficiency while helping the company to remain a niche leader.
Key Results Areas
- ASRs are processed daily, and packaging slips are batched per SOP.
- Inventory levels on assortments and spools are maintained at Min or higher levels.
- Receipts, Packaging, and Returns are processed quickly and accurately.
- A positive, upbeat, pleasant work environment must be promoted and demonstrated in all communications with all internal and external team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)
- Run and review daily reports for assortment and spooling stock levels.
- Initiate and log pick ticket runs daily to capture productivity levels.
- Create MOs to replenish assortments to stay above minimum stock levels.
- Review, edit, and complete ASR functions in S2K to transfer inventory from the DC to the TMs in the field.
- Create packing slips for ASRs to ship with the product and update CORE so packing slips are visible for TMs.
- Monitor and prioritize Returns using Meister Task and ensure an accurate and speedy transfer from TM store to 001.
- Assist the Operations Manager with daily data entry functions such as cycle counts, stock transfers, stock movements, etc.
- Ensure the pull team stays motivated in pulling, packaging, and shipping every order that prints each day in an efficient and accurate manner.

- High School Diploma or a GED
- Minimum of 2 years working in a Distribution Center
- Minimum of 2 years of data entry experience

- Ability to be punctual and manage time efficiently.
- Ability to work 40+ hours per week, typically Monday through Friday, beginning no later than 7:00 AM, with possible Saturdays when needed.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
