Job Description:
The Assistant Operations Manager - Tours Department will be primarily responsible in assisting the management of the day-to-day operations of the department and to provide training. The ideal candidate for this position will have an understanding of the day-to-day dynamics of the department including but not limited to managing the daily experience of our guests, employees, fleet and facilities.
Specific roles/responsibilities will include the following, which in some cases involve training and delegation to other employees:
Conduct daily staff meetings and act as AM/PM MOD (manager on duty) as needed, assist in resolving daily guest and staff issues, monitor daily operations workflow, monitor daily staff schedules and duties, daily communication with fleet manager, fleet status, job timelines, and fleet inventory. Maintain fleet files to D.O.T. standard, maintain all department SOP's and conduct tours as needed. Identify safety improvement opportunities and assist in planning/implementing changes.
Required Experience:
2 or more years of experience working in management
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision to achieve company goals.
Understanding of fleet inventory
Good team player that can work well with co-workers
Computer Literate (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong and proven leadership skills with excellent guest service abilities
