Assistant Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the store manager in various aspects of store operations. Responsibilities:
- Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring efficient and effective store performance
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Train and develop team members on company policies, procedures, and product knowledge
- Conduct employee orientation and ensure new hires are properly onboarded
- Assist in managing inventory, including stock replenishment and conducting regular stock counts
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and maintaining records
- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately
- Support the store manager in implementing sales strategies to achieve targets
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork and motivating team members

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred
- Strong math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members
- Knowledge of training and development principles to support employee growth
- Proficient in using technology, including POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team

Pay: $19.42 - $23.38 per hour

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends
