PRIMARY PURPOSE:
As a VIP Lounge Assistant Manager, you will set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW moments and memories they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assume full responsibility for the department in the absence of director or department head
- Respond to guest service interactions in a professional and timely manner, achieving positive resolutions
- Promote and develop team-oriented philosophy stressing the importance for providing unparalleled commitment to excellence in service
- Oversee quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes that encompasses the Company's diversity commitment
- Ensure department standards for correct charging, postings, collecting payments, handling cash and credit transactions, and balancing of all cash and cash equivalent transactions
- Ensure hotel property and equipment is properly used and maintained
- Supervise VIP Representatives work performance and apply progressive discipline when appropriate
- Submit payroll for VIP staff and track attendance reports
- Order supplies for the department as necessary
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years of relevant experience
