ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Allen Park, MI. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day people operations of our store. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in store management, compliance audits, hiring and scheduling, with a focus on balancing employee experience with customer satisfaction

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Recruit, onboard and develop people to drive a culture of high performance and engagement
• Works closely with General Manager to serve as store HR representative. Maintain relationships with hourly employees and acts as a primary point-of-contact and resource
• Collaborate with cross-functional managers to create schedules that optimize productivity
• Accountable for store's performance through teaching, coaching and providing meaningful feedback to build capabilities
• Adapt team priorities to respond to customer needs and company initiatives
• Oversee budget management, payroll and inventory control and supply ordering
• Teach and coach compliance with company policies and procedures
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in retail management (apparel is a plus)
• Previous experience in interviewing, onboarding and training
• Previous experience teaching and coaching loyalty programs and credit card acquisition
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Proficient in using computer systems for scheduling, payroll, HRIS (Workday is a plus)
