Description:
Uncover trending topics Using social listening and sentiment-analysis tools, in real time and trends to inform Revlon and Almay brands to action against those trends at scale. Monitor and track all relevant social conversations mentions and content (paid and organic). Deep cross-functional engagement with product, web, and marketing teams to provide key creative and tactical insights into Revlon and Almay's social media and broader digital marketing performance. This role will be critical in enabling an always-on social listening analysis offering to cross functional teams within the US.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Track and analyze performance of content across social channels weekly and monthly
  • Provide analysis and recommendation for improvement around all social engagement and branded content
  • Start-to-end ownership of reports, presentations, and other deliverables to provide strategic recommendations for Revlon and Almay
  • Lead a weekly creative analysis where we discuss as a team what is performing, what isn't and what's trending + brainstorm.
  • Monitor, leverage, and share industry trends around social platform updates including changes in algorithms, targeting and overall innovations in social media technology, new capabilities social platforms release, etc.
  • Monitor, leverage and share competitor content, beauty trend and social media trends (most noteworthy on TikTok)
  • Recapping all social campaigns with insights and key learnings
  • Provide analysis and outcomes for various marketing teams on how their product is performing on our social channels. (NPD, BA collabs)
  • Bridging the gap between social + digital insights, ex: How social impacts overall traffic, revenue, sessions etc. to revlon.com, etc.
  • Manage relationship with Meltwater for ongoing operational needs.
  • Ad hoc performance and analysis requests

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2- 3 years marketing experience preferred
  • Must be able to translate the data into applicable culturally relevant via existing and emerging social platforms.
  • Proven experience to translate the data uncovered into trends and deliver knowledge to the social, influencer and brand teams to inform creator content for owned and paid usage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of social media analytics (Tik Tok, Facebook Insights, Snapchat Analytics, Conviva, YouTube Analytics, Listen first, Tubular, Social Content Ratings, etc.),
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Omniture or other analytics tools (i.e., Google Analytics)
  • Proficiency and interest in social media platforms and tools, including TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram & Twitter
  • Knowledge of social media best practices, including content creation, trends + engagement tactics
  • Interest in beauty industry preferred

The base pay range for this position in New York City is $75,000 and $95,000/year; however base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. Certain positions may also be eligible for short and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation.
Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits. Employees are covered by the company-paid basic life insurance policy. Other benefits offered to employees include but are not limited to the following: long-term disability, supplemental life insurances, flexible spending accounts, critical illness insurance, group legal, identity theft protection, etc. Employees are also able to enroll in our 401k Retirement Savings Plan.
Employees are also enrolled in our company-paid short-term disability insurance (the benefit commences upon hire and allows for a portion of base salary for up to 26 weeks if you are disabled).
Employees will also receive 3 weeks of vacation, pro-rated based on date of hire for the 1st year of employment and twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
