Job Summary:
The EEG Technician performs routine EEG recordings as assigned for the adult patient population and ensures all studies are transferred to EPIC. The EEG Technician is also responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc.
Job Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited/formal EEG program or on the job training required.
- At least one year previous experience in a hospital related environment required.
- BLS Certification required (American Heart Association).
