Responsibilities:
- Assist the manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring efficient workflow
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer issues or complaints
- Train and supervise staff members, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures
- Assist in creating employee schedules and managing payroll
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales
- Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for increasing sales and improving overall performance
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff members
Skills:
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or similar role preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management
- Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Excellent math skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory
- Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and suppliers
- Exceptional phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries and resolving issues
- Familiarity with retail math calculations (e.g., profit margins, discounts)
- Experience in team management, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations

Pay: $14.86 - $15.34 per hour
