Assistant Manager-Healthcare Claims Processing Center

Job Description

• Ensure compliance with all corporate and departmental standards. 
• Oversee document prep and imaging processes.  
• Prepare department performance reports.
• Meet with employees on a regular basis to discuss performance and quality.
• Report on Key Performance Metrics (KPIs) to the General Manager to ensure adequate resources and technology are in place.
• Develop and implement departmental standards and expectations.
• Analyze and process a variety of claim document types to ensure the execution of standardized claim protocol and claim handling.
• Ensure that the department practices meet or exceed the client’s processing standards, procedures and service level agreements.
• Responsible for interviewing, new employee training and auditing of trainee performance.
• Identify process improvement opportunities within the claim department and recommend system enhancements.
• Handles any additional responsibility which may be assigned.

Requirements

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• AS / BS Degree Preferred
• Experience in lieu of education will be considered.

Experience:

• 1-3 years’ management experience is preferred

Technical Skills / Knowledge:

• Basic MS office computer skills

• Must be able to demonstrate sound decision making skills

Pay: $21.00/hr
