JOB SUMMARY
As the Convenience Store Assistant Manager, you'll team up with the Convenience Store Operations Manager to run the show at Bear's Den 101! You will follow the mission of delivering excellence in the markets you serve and conduct business according to the details of your job description and the associate manual. To fulfill your responsibilities as the BD 101Assistant Manager, you must ensure that synergy within the brands is promoted and that you have knowledge of the products that the store offers. Additionally, you must ensure that every customer leaves the store satisfied, and you must proactively and reactively address any customer service shortfalls or opportunities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Promote synergy among our brands while staying informed about the products we offer.
- Ensuring 100% satisfaction of the customer.
- Being proactive and reactive to all customer service shortfalls or opportunities.
- Maintaining brand standards throughout operating hours.
- Effective management of productivity, payroll, and labor scheduling to maintain optimal levels that align with the allocated budget.
- Ensure that financial controls are adhered to, specifically in the areas of asset management, particularly with regard to inventory and cash.
- Ensuring the safety of both our employees and customers through the implementation of rigorous safety measures.
- Collaborating with the store manager on working to develop our employees for future growth within the TMG LLC Retail Division.
- Operational support for your location, including management of store appearance, scheduling, merchandising, customer service concerns, and vendor relations.
- We will adhere to the EPA guidelines to ensure compliance with fuel and environmental protocols.
- Assuming the responsibilities of the Operations Manager in their absence.
- Execute additional responsibilities and tasks as directed by the Executive Team or Operation Manager.
SUCCESS FACTORS
We will know the Field Sales Representative is successful when:
- They help participate in achieving its revenue and net income goals according to budget and Company goals.
- They assist in achieving customer satisfaction according to Company goals.
- The store achieves the volume requirements for key drivers and Average Spend Goals
- They achieve the associate satisfaction goals according to Company goals.
- They achieve at least a satisfaction score for Brand Standard Inspections.

- Ensure effective communication with all team members regarding the company's objectives and their individual responsibilities in achieving them.
- Requirement: Spend time with frontline associates to guarantee fair treatment and development by their supervisor.

Qualifications
- Professional Background: Possess experience in managing restaurants and/or convenience stores.
- Ability to lift and stock merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours at a time.
- Physically capable of performing all duties assigned to frontline associates.
- Well-versed in general safety and sanitation protocols concerning food and beverages.
- Exceptional grammar, written, and oral communication proficiencies, coupled with a customer-centric mindset.
- Demonstrate an aptitude for effectively conveying messages to a vast audience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and various POS systems.
- A prerequisite of a valid driver's license.
