```Duties```
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring the cafe runs smoothly
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer complaints or issues
- Supervise and train crew members & shift leaders to provide excellent customer service
- Manage inventory levels and ensure products are properly stocked, including ordering trucks
- Handle cash register operations, including processing transactions and refunds
- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems to process sales and track inventory
- Conduct employee interviews, orientation and provide ongoing training and development opportunities
- Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve store performance
- Actively monitor labor budgets to ensure the cafe is profitable
- Monitor basic safety and sanitation practices to ensure the safety of the guest and employees
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience in food service
- Strong mathematical skills for cash handling
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve customer complaints effectively
- Ability to supervise and motivate a team
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash register operations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory levels and stock product
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to negotiate effectively with customers, employees or vendors
- Able to lift at least 25 pounds
