Assistant Maintenance Tech

We are a private country club looking to add a motivated employee to our team. Canidate must be willing to work afternoons, evenings and weekends. Employee meals and uniforms are provided. Golf on Mondays also permissible

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform maintenance, repair or renovation of property
• Completes special tasks that include but are not limited to: furniture assembly, change locks, and general repairs as assigned.
• Moves office furniture, equipment and other materials as requested
• Knowledge in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and all facets of facility maintenance.
• Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas.
• Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.
• Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.
• Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Participate in demo and clean up

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Completion of an applicable technical training program is desirable
• Minimum of at least three (5) of applicable working experience in general carpentry, renovation, building repair and maintenance

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

• Possess and maintain a valid state Driver's License

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have ability to lift a minimum of 80 lbs., use ladders up to 30 ft
• Successful candidate must be a self-motivated individual who can work independently or in a team environment
• Must pass background screening process
• Ability to comply with both Company and client-directed Policies & Procedures

WORK CONDITIONS

• Candidate MUST process basic hand tools required to perform assigned work scope such as cordless drill and impact driver, screw drivers, pliers, grips, adjustable wrench, hammer, taper measure, caulk gun, safety glasses, torpedo level, drill bits, screw bits, flash light, angled paint brush, Allen keys, pencils, utility knife, chisels and small pry bar.
• Position requires frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and driving
• Position requires excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written

Pay: $21.80 - $22.74 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
