Job Summary
The Assistant Human Resources Manager is responsible for assisting the Human Resources Manager with the application and hiring process, maintaining confidential employee information, and assisting employees with benefits and other concerns.
Specific Job-Related Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintenance and updating of confidential employee paper files
- Assisting with the Management/Evaluation/Negotiation of health, dental, supplemental, vision benefits plans (w/ outside broker). Assisting with the organization of open enrollment meetings
- Assisting with onboarding new employees; explain benefit options and get them enrolled into applicable benefits plans (Provide completed enrollment forms to broker and enter the info on website).
- Assisting with the reconciliation of benefits costs consolidated billing statements vs. deductions
- Keep Employee list updated, including new hires and terminations
- Assisting with unemployment compensation and worker’s compensation audits
- Assisting with timely filing for all unemployment compensation claims
- Assisting with maintenance of the company's employee training website (enter new hires, delete terminated employees, change position titles, etc.)
- Maintaining position descriptions and employee photos on Organizational Chart
- Assist with tracking PTO
- Maintain company values of treating all customers and employees as MVPs

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent Communication and customer service skills
- Ability to be analytical, problem solve and multi-task
- Professional appearance and work ethic
- Self-motivated, goal oriented, and ability to work within a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions
- The employee will work indoors in a professional office environment.
