Assistant General Manager
Duties:
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations of the hotel.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies to improve overall efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all areas of operation.
- Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling costs.
- Train and supervise staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
- Work as a front desk agent 3-4 days per week and as needed.
-Ability to run the full operations of the hotel in the absence of the General Manager
- Cover any uncovered desk shifts. This can include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd(overnight) shifts. Maximum flexibility for being available for all 3 shifts is required.
Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role, in a hotel.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food production processes and coffee preparation techniques
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficient in computer systems and software used for inventory management and reporting
