A TYPICAL DAY:
- Hire, train, coach, schedule and mentor all food and beverage employees
- Support employees and fill in as needed to ensure guests receive attentive and efficient service.
- Proactively engage in conversation with guests, seeking feedback about their dining experience
- Build a clientele
- Apply problem solving skills to resolve guest issues or complaints to their satisfaction
- Monitor all food and beverage deliveries
- Ensure that food handling and safety guidelines are followed, including waste logs
- Oversee inventory, ordering and receiving of all food and beverage items
- Establish sales promotion efforts to meet or exceed profit objectives while controlling both food and beverage costs
- Support the goals of the restaurant through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
- Check the cleanliness of restaurant and fill out the opening checklist
- Check bar prep to ensure quality
- Clean and organize walk-in and storage areas
- Perform pre-shift assessment of staffing, reservations, product counts, etc.
- Fill out pre-shift meeting outline and host pre-shift meetings
- Actively engage staff and provide productive feedback
- Manage and update Toast menu items and counts
- Check set up of the restaurant and ensure we are ready for service
- Work floor management shifts and ensure service is flowing smoothly
- Manage payroll with timely cuts and identify any times of need for staffing shortages
- Complete END OF DAY paperwork and fill out slack post
- Check out FOH and BOH closers
- Perform final walk-through with closing checklist
- Set alarm and lock the restaurant
Salary: $67,000
