Job description

The Doubletree by Hilton Burlington is Vermont’s largest hotel and conference center. Known as a premier location for meetings, events and travelers, the Doubletree offers guests a quality experience when visiting Vermont. The hotel has started a $16 million dollar renovation to include all of the 30,000 square feet of event space, guest rooms, public areas and more! This is a unique opportunity to join a growing and seasoned hospitality team.

This is a unique opportunity to join a growing and seasoned hospitality team.

The ideal candidate will have work experience in Front Office and Housekeeping management.

Along with AGM responsibility the position is the primary department head of the Front Office.

Below are examples of the positions key responsibilities:

  • Assist the General Manager in recruiting, on boarding and training of new associates.
  • Support the property culture of service excellence.
  • Schedule and lead the front office associates.
  • Schedule and lead the food and beverage associates.
  • Provide support and leadership to the Executive Housekeeper and the Housekeeping Team.
  • Assist the General Manager with account payable processing.
  • Actively participate in the revenue management process.
  • Assist the General Manager with forecasting revenue and expenses.
  • Daily property inspections.
  • Ensure good communication lines between Front Office, Sales, Housekeeping and Engineering departments.
  • Be an expert in Doubletree by Hilton Brand Standards
  • Be an expert in the property PMS

Position Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of hotel management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Hotel Front Office operations.
  • Understanding of Hotel Housekeeping operations.
  • Food and Beverage experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Well developed leadership skills
  • Hospitality or business management degree is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $115,000.00 per year
