Assistant Front Desk Manager
The Manhattan Club, New York City’s first Timeshare property is seeking an Assistant Front Desk Manager.
A residence-style Boutique Timeshare, the Manhattan Club provides endless possibilities for the enjoyment of its guests. The Manhattan Club introduces a unique experience; blending a vacation ownership retreat with a luxury suite hotel. Centrally located in midtown Manhattan, it is convenient to many of New York City’s extraordinary and exciting attractions, encouraging our Owners and Guests to experience the pace of the City by day and feel the pulse of the City by night.
This position will oversee the daily operations of the Front Desk which includes but is not limited to:
· Ensuring the department’s members provide the highest level of customer service;
· Effectively handle any incidents and concerns in a professional manner;
· Supervise, train, and develop staff;
· Promote meaningful relationships and customer service in a fast paced, structured environment;
· Lead by example, consistently conveying a positive attitude, passion, and pride in work;
· Fill in all shifts including overnight and weekends.
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred;
· 2+ years of Front Desk experience in a large hotel;
· Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and be detail oriented;
· Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, a true team player;
· Excellent oral, verbal, and written communication skills, Bi-lingual a plus;
· Flexible and willing to cover all shifts including days, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays;
· Professional appearance and excellent attendance and punctuality;
· Familiarity with Microsoft Windows applications, particularly in Excel.
Physical Requirements
· No schedule restrictions, must be able to work AM/PM/Overnight, including holidays and weekends.
· Light work – Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
· Ability to stand during entire shift.
